Any phone that supports call forwarding: traditional landlines, VoIP systems (RingCentral, Vonage, Ooma, Grasshopper, Google Voice), cell phones (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile), and multi-line hotel phone systems (Mitel, Avaya, Cisco).
Do I need to change my phone number?+
No. Your guests continue calling your existing number. Forwarding happens behind the scenes — they'll never know motel4 is involved unless the AI identifies itself.
Will you integrate with PMS systems in the future?+
We're exploring PMS integrations for real-time availability and rate info. But today, motel4 works without any integration — deliberately. We believe the value of instant setup outweighs the value of deep integration for most independent properties.
What if my phone system is very old?+
If your phone can forward calls (even basic "forward on busy/no-answer"), it works with motel4. For very old systems without forwarding, your carrier can usually add it remotely. Contact us and we'll help troubleshoot.
